Abstract

The aim was to evaluate the relationship between management support and resistance to innovation and well-being at work. Participated 43 servers of the Health Department of the Federal District registered as change activators. The scale of Welfare at Work and two factors of the Scale of Climate Indicators for Creativity were used. It was found that the greater the support, the greater the welfare. In contrast, greater resistance, less well-being, impacting on the perception of achievement at work. It is concluded that the resistance of managers is a barrier to innovation and support can improve productivity making the environment positive, creative and above all healthy.
