Abstract

Introduction: In order to improve the way of training the Nurse to reach the professional profile recommended by the National Curricular Guidelines, the use of Problematization has gained space as an important strategy to reach this goal. Objective: to identify the recent Brazilian scientific production on the use of the Problem-solving method in Nursing training, its challenges and strategies of overcoming in a period of ten years (2008 to 2018) as well as the influence of the use of this method in the formation of the professional profile of the Nurse. Method: This is an integrative literature review carried out from January to September, 2018 using articles obtained from the Nursing Database (BDENF) and the Scientific Electronic Library Online (ScieLo). Results: 177 articles were identified and 5 were used after applying the inclusion / exclusion criteria, being 03 experience reports, 01 integrative review and 01 qualitative study. Problematization was identified as a method with potential for the development of characteristics essential to the professional profile recommended by the National Curricular Guidelines, its use and application have limitations with emphasis on the qualification and adaptation of teachers, structure and limited amount of theoretical references on the subject . Final considerations: Problematization has methodological characteristics that allow the aggregation of quality to the training of the Nurse and development of characteristics essential to the performance of its function.
